My vet is the best. I've been taking my "kids" to CVC for over 10 years. When the staff is happy you know their patients and "parents" will be happy. Most of the staff have been working with Dr Bigelow as long as I've been taking my "kids" to CVC. He is very personable, patient, caring and understanding. I will never forget when my Camille passed, they gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye to her. They sent me a framed collage as a memorial with photos of her, her pawprint, her collar and a handwritten sentiment to me. While many pets are frightened to go to the vet, my kids are just the opposite. They love the attention and welcoming atmosphere of the office.

Dr. Bigelow is caring,professional and knowledgeable. He has taken care of my 10yr old Kitty Milo since he was 4mo. old and hes super healhy. He now cares for my Boxer Bentley. We've had a lot if skin problems with Bentley and as of now he's problem free! Thank you Dr Bigelow!

Goldie nominates her veterinarian of 13 years Dr. Matthew Bigelow because he rocks!! Dr. B has known Goldie since she was a pup. She had her first check up at his Center Veterinary Clinic in 1999 and was spayed there. Goldie developed a bond with Dr. B and always wags her tail when she sees him! He was the man who saved her life this summer by discovering a tumor in her back during her senior exam. That tumor turned out to be a cancerous growth that was the size of a grapefruit! Goldie went immediately into surgery and is now undergoing chemotherapy to prevent the spread of the disease. Our family is ever so grateful to Dr. B for being there for Goldie in her time of need! His clinic has become her favorite boarding spot. The entire Center Veterinary family with all of the medical technicians have become her second family. We hope Dr. Bigelow is recognized in some way for all that he does for Goldie and the San Diego community for he is truly one amazing vet!!! Dr Bigelow is one the best vets I have ever met. He is constantly keeping ontop of any new ways to manage diseases and the new medicaitons that can help. He keeps on top of the new reccomendations for vaccines and and chronic disease states. He is also open to suggesting alternative tharapies like acupunture. He will also consult with local specialist and also know when he needs to refer out a case that is beyond his specialty. He is so thorough he always gives you a copy of the exam notes on the day you leave or if your pet has labs or an xray review he will also send a copy of the results home with you . he is the only vet I know that gives out his cell number and lets you call him up to 9pm any night. He will also allow you to email him at any time. The clinic is also so generous about giving the best customer care and in addition they give out monthly the email discounts. He also has helped out people who do not have enough money to pay in full for all the services but their pet needs the sercies and he also spays or neuters 2 feral cats per week and works with the low cost spay neuter program in the area . You cant ask for a more giving veterinarian
